Company History
From its beginning in 1982 Artco has expanded our involvement in the custom hotel furniture markets from an initial program supporting the renovation requirements of a number of Canadian Four Seasons properties to over 200 major hotel installations worldwide including Paris, Berlin, Jakarta and various projects in Japan and Mexico.
Throughout, Artco has retained its manufacturing facilities in Canada and with strategic alliances with other Canadian manufacturers continues to offer a wide range of guest room and public area products including case goods, upholstery and metal products. This strategy provides for support of the local community and the employees that have supported the continued expansion of our firm but also provides our clients with quick turnaround of projects and an easy hands on approach through the development and fabrication process.
Major clients include Fairmont, Peninsula Hotels, Starwood brands including St Regis, W Hotels, Le Meridien, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Loews Hotels, Ritz Carlton, Morgan’s and numerous others.
Recent changes to the ownership structure have brought increased vitality to the firm through a unique equity participation of their employees providing greater flexibility in meeting the needs of its valued clients.
